Overview:
In this role, the candidate will oversee the procurement process, securing cost-effective goods, equipment, and services while managing vendor relationships and supervising the buying team. CentiMark operates under a hybrid sourcing platform, where corporate contracts and partnerships represent 70% of the company's annual spend, with the remaining balance sourced locally across our 100 field locations. The commercial roofing industry is well structured, with numerous industry resources available, such as the NRCA and Roofing Alliance.
You will manage a team of buyers and utilize our ERP system (SAP) to analyze all aspects of our spend. We maintain an online internal catalog that provides quick access for field associates while allowing corporate purchasing to adjust pricing immediately. This role is a key component for our field associates, and daily communications take place not only with our suppliers, but inter company personnel as well.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Sourcing: Create and implement effective procurement plans that cut costs and reduce supply chain risks.
- Vendor Management: Research, select, and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, bulk discounts, rebates, and contract terms with suppliers.
- Warranty: Ensure the best possible warranties are in place for all sourced goods.
- Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and forecast future demand to prevent shortages or excess waste.
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and lead the buying team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years proven work history in purchasing or procurement.
- Hard Skills: Contract and warranty review/drafting, strong data analysis, and familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software and strategic sourcing tools.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building abilities.
