Area Marketing Representative (Entry-Level)
CentiMark Corporation is hiring an entry-level, Area Marketing Representative in our Michigan/Indiana/Ohio/Kentucky Region! CentiMark Corporation is the nation's largest commercial roofing contractor with 100 offices and over 3,500 employees.
This role will pay $18/hr - $20/hr plus Commissions & Benefits.
This is a Sales/Marketing position that will support the Regional Sales team in marketing our roofing services throughout the 4 State Region. It is designed to be a minimum (2) year program, with the goal of placing this individual into a future estimating/sales role within the company. The role will be managed directly by the Regional Sales Manager.
Candidate Qualifications:
· Sales or marketing experience is preferred
· Travel (including overnight) as needed within the Mid-North Region (Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky)
· Competency in Microsoft Office Suite as well as Digital Video Presentation
· Current & valid Driver’s License
· Ability to ascend ladders and perform work at elevated positions
· Good relationship-building skills
· Excellent Follow-up Skills
· Must show a positive work ethic and the ability to work within a team environment
· Must be well organized with solid time management skills
· Strong communication & writing skills
Job Summary:
· Research potential customers and perform cold calls on targeted potential clients
· Market CentiMark’s features, benefits, and success stories through various social media platforms
· Call to prospect and set appointments for intro calls and meetings
· Organize customer and prospecting events for each office in the Mid-North Region
· Assist the regional sales team with their Top Target Account efforts
· Research market dynamics and industries to help form effective marketing programs
· Join and get involved in appropriate networking organizations such as BOMA, IFMA, Hospital Engineering, etc to market/highlight our unique service offering
· Organize and participate in select trade shows that fit our customer profile
· Learn and participate in CentiMark’s estimating and proposal writing programs
· Perform joint calls with various Regional Sales staff
· Coordinate marketing efforts with Regional Reps and National Accounts teams to target and develop Opportunities/Customers for each
· Attain monthly activity goals set by regional sales management
· Learn and gain proficiency in all responsibilities associated with a regional sales and estimating role
Activity Expectations:
- Generate and Schedule a minimum of Five (5) in Person joint Meetings per week with Prospects and a member of the CentiMark sales team
- Walk/Stop In at least Twenty (20) Expired Warranties Per Month
- Attend Networking events each month (BOMA, IFMA, NAIOP, etc)
- Weekly Social Media posts highlighting CentiMark’s capabilities, success stories, etc.
- Minimum of 20 Prospecting calls each week
Performance/Goal Expectations:
- Generate 15 NEW Opportunities/Leads per month
- Should generate $2.0 Million in Delivered Proposals each month
- Generating $5.0 Million in New Sales Annually to the Mid-North Region
